Role: Associate Project Manager

This is an environment upgrade project which consist both software and hardware upgrade. Existing OCBC WFI environment which is running on WFI FileNet 3.0 is upgrading to WFI FileNet 4.5.1. The main features of this project are: (a) FileNet 3.0 upgrade to 4.5.1 with MS Windows Server 2008 R2, MS SQL Server 2008 (b) BPF 1.5 upgrade to 4.1 (c) IS 4.0 upgrade to 4.1.2 (d) Capture 4.1 upgrade to 5.2 (e) Content Engine data migration (Documents, Custom objects, BPF Cases, Marking Set etc) (f) Process Engine Data Migration

This project has two human interfaces for achieving the goals, one for customers which was implemented in portals and other was for operators for business process management which was implemented in FileNet P8 BPM suite.

The vision of BCA Contract Process Tool (CPT) is to automate business processes associated with the contracting life cycle. The life cycle includes contract initiation, contract administration, contract settlement, and contract termination/cancellation and supplier management. The additional project goal is to manage contracting process across enterprise with a dashboard, which will provide a dynamic view of these operations. These sets of functions are identified as major areas of focus for time, cost, personal effectiveness and overall performance improvement.

The Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board (KUWSDB) has taken a technology initiative for developing an electronic document management system (EDMS) and Project Monitoring Tool, to improve operational efficiency, productivity in handling documents and facilitate information sharing.
Main Features of the application are Batch Scanning using Bar Code separator as document separator, OCR, File Import, Document Split, Re-Scan. Another module of the system, project monitoring tool is used to monitor the progress of the projects which are ongoing or new. The project components are maintained at item of work level. Their progress is recorded after a defined interval so that the overall physical and financial progress of the project can be monitored. Other features of the solution include internal messaging, contact list, knowledge management and status and audit trail reports.
