The Gypsum Activity is the worldwide leader of plasterboard systems, building plasters and ceilings for the interior design. With a presence in more than 50 countries, the activity employs more than 12 000 people.

The role of the central marketing team in the Gypsum activity is to work closely with the countries marketing teams in the coordination of different marketing projects and innovation roll-outs. The team also works closely and builds strong relationships with the other central teams inside the activity (operations, R&D, EHS, finance) as well as the Corporate marketing of the Group

You will report to the International Communications Coordinator within the Central marketing team which comprises of 25 people and 10 nationalities. In this role you will support the organisation of the 11th Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy, planned in Lisbon in March 2018. This Trophy is the activity’s largest and most prestigious event, gathering some 450 guests, including our best clients as well as journalists.

You will also assist the Marketing Communications team with other internal & external communication initiatives across all the businesses of the Saint-Gobain Gypsum Activity.

1. Logistics of the 11th International Gypsum Trophy

- Coordinate the entry materials and input from the countries, ensuring all of the content for every project is gathered through a web platform

- Follow-up of participants’ registration

- Onsite (Lisbon) coordination of the event

- Support the administration and organisation of the competition and awards ceremony

- Implement the Community Management strategy

2. Publications and design

- Coordination of the printed documents, including the 2018 Trophy Book, gathering the submitted projects

- Brochures

- Powerpoint preparations

- Signage

3. Other

- Translations

- Update of the Website and Intranet

- Help with the writing of the monthly Newsletter of the activity

- Populate and index the Saint-Gobain Gypsum media bank


Profil recherché
Profil recherché :

Personal skills:

A sense of initiative, excellent presentation, very good written and verbal communication skills in English, strong organisational abilities.


Business school with marketing/ events or communications specialisation (1st or 2nd year)


English (fluent – native speaker) – working language

French notions is an advantage
