Job Description- Contributing to the preparation of the technical specifications;
- Support to the Contracting Authority in the analysis of the Industry proposals relevant to Ground Segment evolutions and changes;
- Support to the Contracting Authority in the oversight of industry compliance to the Statement of Work;
- Support to the Contracting Authority in the oversight of industrial development plans and associated risks, contributing to the development of associated risk mitigation actions with engineering perspective;
- Contributing to assessing performance of Ground Segment evolutions from an engineering perspective, through review of relevant KPIs and deliverables, and propose actions and improvements related issues or missed opportunities;
- Contributing to reviews at System level (e.g., System Requirements Review), Sub-System and Component levels confirming compliance with user level requirements, qualifications status as well as other applicable standards or regulations; support preparation for reviews including review boards/panels; RIDs shall be raised by Agency technically supported at these review panels/boards;
- Follow up on industrial activities related topics such as System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP), Interface Control Document (ICD) etc.;
- Follow up on industrial activities related topics such as System/Sub-system maintenance engineering including Maintenance Support Logistics (ILS) including but not limited: Maintenance Engineering Analysis (MEA), Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis(RCM); Failure Mode Effects And Criticality Analysis(FMECA); Fault Tree Analysis(FTA); Reliability Block Diagram(RBD);
- Supporting Contracting Authority in follow-up on Industrialization Plans ensuring that EUSPA requirements are implemented within sub-system delivery plan acceptance criteria;
- Supporting Contracting Authority in follow-up on system/sub-system delivery plans ensuring that EUSPA requirements are implemented within sub-system delivery plan acceptance criteria;
- Supporting Contracting Authority in management/oversight deployment activities ensuring that EUSPA requirements are implemented within deployment plan acceptance criteria;
- Supporting Contracting Authority follow-up handover package completeness ensuring all required documentation is delivered by Industry before handover takes place;
- Contribute during Qualification & Acceptance phase anomaly handling supporting resolution process until closure;
- Support during Qualification & Acceptance phase review activities and boards;
- Support to the Contracting Authority in the follow-up of the migration activities from legacy to new infrastructure ensuring that EUSPA requirements are implemented within migration plan acceptance criteria;
- Support to the Contracting Authority in the follow-up of the decommissioning activities ensuring that EUSPA requirements are implemented within decommissioning plan acceptance criteria.
Qualifications- Bachelor or Masters in Aerospace Engineering or a relevant field;
- 3-5 years of experience in ground segment system engineering;
- Experience in Galileo is an advantage;
- Ability to work with review boards, and multi-disciplinary teams;
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail;
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
