As part of the larger Corporate Affairs function, the Corporate Communications and Public Affairs team leads and drives excellence in communications, public affairs, and patient advocacy at Ipsen. Together, we build and protect the Ipsen brand and deliver the Group strategy to benefit our employees, patients, and society.

To advocate for our medicines and support those affected by diseases with significant unmet needs, we strive to understand the external environment and the real issues at hand. By creating meaningful collaborations, we aim to influence beliefs and behaviors, bringing about positive change.

As a member of the global employee communications team within Corporate Communications, you will focus on employee and culture communications. Working closely with the entire Corporate Communications team, you will help safeguard and enhance Ipsen's reputation both internally and externally. Your day-to-day activities will include supporting ongoing communications projects, organizing internal events, and developing various communications materials such as articles, videos, and newsletters. You will thrive in a digital focused, dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment, collaborating cross-functionally to achieve our mission as a key strategic partner for the organization.

We are currently looking for a passionate communications intern who is creative, tech-savvy, enthusiastic, and committed. You should be an excellent writer in both French and English, with outstanding planning, digital and organizational skills. Eager to learn, you will work closely with a diverse and experienced team of professionals across all disciplines of external, digital, and internal communications.

Knowledge & Experience (essential):

  • Efficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment

  • Positive attitude and an eagerness to learn

Knowledge & Experience (preferred):

  • Experience with Sharepoint, Wordpress Content Management System, like Lumapps specifically, or other digital platforms

  • Proficiency in video production and editing tools

  • Design and content creation skills

  • Copywriting experience

Education / Certifications (essential):

  • Enrollment in a BA or BSc degree in public relations, communications, or journalism
